Pernicia exists because the gap between AI prototypes and production AI in regulated industries is wider than most teams realize.
The company
Pernicia was founded in 2018 to address a specific gap: engineering teams in regulated industries — particularly BFSI — need production-grade AI and Cloud capabilities, not workshop demos or tutorial walkthroughs. The distance between a working prototype and a system that survives regulatory scrutiny, operational stress, and organizational scale is larger than most teams anticipate.
We work with engineering teams who carry the operational weight when something breaks at 2 AM. Our engagements end with artifacts they can maintain: code, architecture, runbooks, evaluation suites, and the knowledge transfer to use them.
Pernicia operates as two legal entities: Pernicia Private Limited (registered in India, 2018) and Pernicia Corp (registered in Canada, 2018). This dual structure enables us to work with clients across jurisdictions with appropriate legal and invoicing arrangements.
We currently operate across India, the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia), North America (Canada, US), and Europe. Native billing in INR, USD, CAD, and EUR.
